GBRW delivered an advanced four-day blended training workshop to Egyptian SME and commercial bankers.
During May and June 2021, GBRW Learning, in partnership with the Egyptian Banking Institute, delivered an advanced four-day blended training workshop on Loan Restructuring. The program was designed to provide Senior SME and Commercial banking professionals with credit risk and relationship management responsibilities a comprehensive understanding of loan restructuring concepts, tools, and techniques.
The workshop was delivered in four modules. Each module included a remote session and eLearning activities. The remote instructor-led sessions allow the participants to discuss topics and concerns, exchange thoughts, share experiences with the instructor and peers, and receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment. The remote sessions, which included breaks and breakout exercises, were complemented by eLearning activities that consisted of videos, quizzes, and a final examination designed to improve understanding and retention and enhance the remote sessions’ effectiveness.
This initial offering was oversubscribed. Therefore, two sessions were conducted (May 24th to 27th and May 30th to June 2nd) to ensure the class size nurtured an interactive and engaging environment while satisfying the demand for the training.
Delegates from Alex Bank, Arab International Bank, Banque Misr, the Central Bank of Egypt, Commercial International Bank of Egypt, and Emirates NBD participated in the workshops.
The delegates merit recognition for their hard work and commitment to learning, and their efforts paid off. Each delegate successfully passed the challenging quizzes and the final workshop examination.
